Read What Ron's Clients are Saying!
"Dear Ricki, (VP / Broker, Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc.)
The purpose of this correspondence is to let you know the story behind a transaction that I just completed with Knight Champion. This is the first time that I have had the pleasure of working with Knight and certainly hope that I will have the opportunity again many times in the future.
Knight was co-listing a condominium in Columbia Heights for a woman who is terminally ill and literally living on borrowed time at this point in her affliction. This fact was not known to myself or my clients, the purchasers, early on in the process. Her attitude and demeanor are exemplary of her courage and grace. We should all have the strength to leave this world with such dignity. It was obvious that Knight and his client had a wonderful relationship; he was very protective of her as she was very vulnerable at this stage of the game.
In the midst of the transaction that had gone so smoothly in its initial stages, problems arose with qualifying the building due to sudden rise in the delinquency rate. The resulting consequences would jeopardize the Seller's imminent need to move into assisted living and soon hospice due to the resulting inability to get financing. Knight's compassion towards his client, his quick assistance and the expertise he exhibited to save the transaction are so deserving of recognition that I would be remiss if I did not bring it to your attention. Under no uncertain terms would he allow anything to derail the sale so that his client could move into the facility she selected to live out the final chapter in her life. Working closely with his client and the Lender he managed to ultimately protect the sale and settlement occurred as scheduled.
I am sure that you are aware of his many qualities but the sensitivity and skill he displayed were so extraordinary that I know this experience will stand out as one of my most memorable for all of the right reasons for many years to come."
With my very best wishes, Christine

"Thank you very much for your recent help.
If you have prospective clients who are considering retaining you to help them buy or sell a house we would very highly recommend your services and we hope that you will pass this unsolicited testimonial letter on to them and encourage them to contact us. In February of 2002 we decided to relocate and were told by many "experts" that our house in Rockville/Potomac would sell itself quickly without a broker. While we most often believe in securing professional help for most transactions we thought the "For Sale By Owner" route would work out fine. How drastically wrong we were!
For several weeks we placed advertisements and ran open-houses. Numerous potential buyers toured our house and negotiated with us. Most prospective buyers wanted to discount the price due to the fact that we did not have a broker and many others drove us crazy with question after question while not really being serious about our property. If we didn't understand what a "tire-kicker" was prior to this we certainly now do. After those few weeks we decided to hire a broker.
We gave the listing to a local realtor within a few days we were presented with several full-price offers. We gathered together with our realtor and with the realtors representing our prospective buyers. While it was a difficult choice for use to select among the potential buyers, Ron Sitrin turned out to make this an easy choice for us. He made and impassioned plea on behalf of his buyers as to several important reasons why our house really made sense for them. We were touched by the comments that Ron made. While negotiating as strongly as possible as he could for his clients, Ron was always most professional and made a fantastic impression on us.
Additionally, from the period of time from contract execution through settlement Ron was always available to help all parties in any fashion needed in order to keep the transaction moving toward settlement.
"We would be glad to discuss our experience with those considering retaining Ron Sitrin."Barry A. Flax and Susan M. Kay

"I just wanted to say thank you for coming over to the Chevy Chase Office to help me with my buyers agent panel. You did a great job! Some of the agents have asked me about what you said and they admired your work ethic, success and approach. So do I!
I know you're busy and I really appreciate your having taken the time to help me out!"Holly Worthington
"Hello All. It wasn't easy and yet it was simple. I had a desire to return north while pregnant with Rachel back in 1999. Adam thought it was hormones talking. But the desire never receded. And so, four years later my vision has come to be our reality. We are residents of Montgomery County, Maryland - near Olney.
Back in my hotel days we learned that the three most important things were location, location, location. Our house is 30-45 minutes from both downtown Baltimore and DC. We are 5 blocks from Gavin's ne elementary school and a couple additional blocks to the middle school. Our new synagogue and a Starbucks are 1.5 miles away. Great Chinese is 10 miles down Georgia Ave. Parks abound and free museums are easily accessible. I think we have landed in a fantastic location!
Our house was found on the second day of "serious" looking and we couldn't have had a better agent and team (Go Ron, Marc and Barbara). To get the contract on the house it took over 5.5 hours of hard negotiation and rabbits jumping out of hats but we prevailed over the other two interested couple. We closed one month later on 7/30 and had new carpet installed before the ink dried on the title.
We now live in a beautiful traditional colonial with an oasis of peace and beauty known as the yard. Out multi-tiered deck spills over perennial landscaping that was loved to life. Bird houses poke out of Oaks, Purple Plums, Dogwoods and Japanese Maples. There are great places for the kids to play, climb and hide. Inside we have a finished basement (with new carpeting), the main level flows with multiple entrances/exits into all the rooms, high ceilings, stone-tiled floors and hardwood. The hardwoods continue up the stairs and throughout all 4 bedrooms. (We have room and interest in visitors.)
The house was both ready to move into and offers 30 years worth of possibilities to upgrade and expand. Some of the projects we envision for our future include a Schmuckler designed kitchen to accommodate the kosher quantity of dishes and pots and our gourmet and Asian cooking tendency, a screened-in patio and outside "grill kitchen," and maybe a garage (we currently have a carport). My enthusiasm could go on and on so I'll just end this bit by exclaiming that I honestly feel more at home in this house after 2 weeks than I ever did in our Georgia home.
So it is true, I am happy. The long haul to get here was not in vain. As we develop new friendships and reestablish old ones here all that has started on the right foot will get even better. I am so excited about the future."Naomi
